Staircases are an unobtainable tile and is found on all floor levels. It cannot be mined or obtained by the Player, even in creative mode.
Uses[]
Staircases are used to go deeper in the Underground, return to the Overworld, or to reach the Sky World.
Trivia[]
- There can be only one staircase that leads to The Obsidian Dungeon and up to three for the Sky World depending on normal world sizes.
- It may be possible to have an increased amount of Sky World staircases on untested beyond world sizes.
- The Player, in creative mode, can choose to press SHIFT + W or SHIFT + S to quickly change floors without looking for staircases.
