The Player is the character who is controlled by the user of Minicraft. The player is able to do a variety of tasks, such as crafting and placing tiles. The player's main goal is to defeat the Air Wizard that mocks him about. Where the extended goal in Minicraft+ is to defeat the Obsidian Knight that prevents the player from expanding their limited abilities. The player's default clothes is Regular (white) and default skin is Paul. The player spawns in the Overworld’s Surface floor level and can change respawn points using a Bed in Survival and Score modes. The Player can see around only the tile the player is on when in The Underground. The player can only see the whole screen in Creative mode only.

Combat[]

The Player is able to fight Mobs to stay alive. This is done by attacking them with fists or a weapon. The Player must avoid taking damage, or face the consequence of death, In Creative, the player cannot die and hitting Mobs will be instantly killed and hitting tiles will be instantly destroyed. The Player can respawn in Survival and Score modes when killed, leaving a Death Chest, which will despawn and drop items, varying on the difficulty. The Player deals 1 to 3 damage if using fists on mobs and trees. One damage point is done to rock tiles in Survival, Score and Hardcore modes. The player starts with 10 HP and base health can be increased consuming an Obsidian Heart obtained by defeating the Obsidian Knight. The player can heal when the hunger bar is above 6, using health or regeneration potion. Damage can be avoided by using a shield potion or wearing armor.

Crafting[]

The Player is able to craft a variety of objects, such as Tools and crafting stations to stay alive while exploring the world. In Minicraft Plus, the player can craft by pressing Z. This can be done by pressing X on a crafting station.

Stamina[]

The Player starts with 10 stamina. 4 stamina will be gained per second if the stamina bar is not full. Different activities use differing amounts of stamina. In water, it decreases 1 stamina per second, when stamina is at 0, the player takes damage, but takes little hunger when regenerating. The stamina bar does not go down using energy or swim potions.

Hunger[]

In Minicraft Plus, the player starts with 10 hunger points. In Creative mode there is no hunger. When the hunger bar is at 0, Players start taking damage, but has no effect to stamina regeneration. This can be restored by eating food. When the hunger is above 6, It regenerates 1 health every 4 seconds and 4 stamina per second. The hunger bar goes down faster varying on the difficulty. The Player can die in hard difficulty except easy and normal difficulty.

Skins[]

A skin can change your player look in Minicraft Plus. There are 4 player skins in Minicraft Plus. This inculdes Paul, the regular skin in Minicraft, Paul with Cape, Familiar Boy that references Steve and Familiar Girl that references Alex from the game Minecraft. Minicraft Plus also offers the ability of custom skins.

Trivia[]

  • Despite in Creative, the player also has unlimited stamina, meaning that the player will keep on attacking, placing and using.
  • In version 1.9.0 and newer versions of Minicraft Plus, the player doesn't take knockback in water and lava.
  • The player hurt sound was replaced with mob/tiles hit sound on version 1.9.0 of Minicraft Plus. Now it was added back in Minicraft Plus 2.0.7.
  • Skins were added in 2.0.7.
  • If your armor of material you're using is destroyed, It will leave you taking HP points when you take damage until you wear another armor of material or better.

Air Wizard Suit[]

  • When the removed boss the second Air Wizard was defeated the player would receive a new option under the World Options Menu. This new option would allow the player to equip the Air Wizard Suit which changes the sprite of the player. All skins would have a suit variant as it was required, this also includes custom skins.
    • The Air Wizard suit on the player allowed the player to walk off the clouds without falling, as a reward from the Second Air Wizard. The player would receive the "Wear Suit" option to the World Options menu stated above to toggle the suit and it’s related abilities. Both the options, the suit and it’s abilities were removed in 2.1.1 along with the removal of the second Air Wizard.
